Before apparantly committing suicide yesterday, Dick Trickle called 911 and told them that there was going to be a body to pick up.

Former Nascar Winston Cup Series driver Richard "Dick" Trickle, 71, has died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound in Boger City, North Carolina.
Trickle made 303 Cup starts from 1970-2002, posting 15 top-5 finishes and 36 top 10s. He also scored two Nationwide Series wins in 1997 & 1998, but is remembered for winning more than 1,000 short-track feature races across the United States.

Luke Bryan will release a new album, his fourth, on Aug. 13. The project has not yet been titled. The release date was announced during a recent episode of The Late Show with David Letterman. Bryan performed the project’s first single, “Crash My Party,” during the episode.
The Aug. 13 release will be the follow-up to tailgates & tanlines, which contains the singles, “Country Girl (Shake It For Me),” “Drunk On You,” “I Don’t Want This Night To End” and “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye.”
