Did you see Jason Aldean’s new ride? According to Twitter, Luke Bryan surprised Jason with a vintage, cherry red 1976 Bronco Saturday at the historic Sanford Stadium show in Athens, Georgia. Jason Aldean says he and Luke have a great friendship that is strengthened by their mutual love of music. Backstage at the gig, Jason tweeted, “Check out my new toy courtesy of @LukeBryanOnline 76 Bronco! Thanks home.”

Saturday’s concert was the first show at the University of Georgia venue and the first stadium gig on the Night Train tour. Thomas Rhett and Jake Owen were also on the bill. Surprise guest Ludacris rapped on "Dirt Road Anthem."

GARTH BROOKS is being sued by his former business partner . . . a woman named Lisa Sanderson.  She's asking for $425,000 in unpaid bonus and salary, plus punitive damages. 

Sanderson claims she was a big shot Hollywood producer when Garth hired her 20 years ago to jumpstart his TV and movie career.  But she says Garth's ego got in the way of every project she lined up.

For example, he said no to being a sniper in "Saving Private Ryan" because he, quote, "Wanted to be the star . . . and was unwilling to share the spotlight with TOM HANKS, MATT DAMON and EDWARD BURNS." 

She says Garth turned down "Twister" because he didn't want to play second fiddle to a tornado.  And, in what sounds like huge sour grapes, Sanderson is also claiming Garth is a tax fraud.  (???)

And yes, Garth's people issued a statement.  Here it is:  "Mr. Brooks, of course, denies everything in the lawsuit filed by Lisa Sanderson.  Mr. Brooks and Red Strokes Entertainment will take the necessary steps toward resolving this matter through the legal system."

(Red Strokes is a production company owned by Garth.  It's obviously named after his song "The Red Strokes".  Anyway, you can read more about the lawsuit here and here.)

Yesterday a tough day for most. The bombing in Boston, Tax Day, Monday...So I found a little something to make you smile. What do you do when you're waiting for a bus and there's a song in your head? Why, you dance like nobody's watching. Only in this woman's case, someone was watching and recording.

Social media was buzzing on Monday with reaction to the bombings at the Boston Marathon. One of the most powerful was posted by comedian/actor Patton Oswald on Facebook.

Oswald wrote, "I remember, when 9/11 went down, my reaction was, 'Well, I've had it with humanity.' But I was wrong…" He adds, "The vast majority stands against that darkness and, like white blood cells attacking a virus, they dilute and weaken and eventually wash away the evildoers and, more importantly, the damage they wreak. This is beyond religion or creed or nation. We would not be here if humanity were inherently evil. We'd have eaten ourselves alive long ago." And he concludes, "So when you spot violence, or bigotry, or intolerance or fear or just garden-variety misogyny, hatred or ignorance, just look it in the eye and think, 'The good outnumber you, and we always will.'"

The Brad Paisley and LL Cool J duet “Accidental Racist” made the news on Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update. Kenan Thompson and Jason Sudeikis played LL and Brad, respectively, going on the air with Seth Meyers to jokingly defend the controversial collaboration.

So what did Brad think of the spoof? Tweeting a picture of sketch, Brad posted, “Well, we wanted to start the conversation. This is fantastic.”

LL got a chuckle out the piece too, tweeting, “LMFAO hahaha pretty funny lol.”
