DARIUS RUCKER surprised a special needs teenager who was performing his song "While I Still Got Time" at a high school talent show in South Carolina. The boy's name is Frankie Antonelli and he was killing it on his own . . . but when Darius walked onto the stage the crowd went nuts. Photo and comment posted with permission from listener, Robin Denny.
(Mt. Pleasant, SC) Wando High School's talent show happened recently. The last performance was a boy with special needs (Down Syndrome) performing a Darius song. He was dressed in his Darius t-shirt. After he sang the first verse and chorus, a figure came walking out from behind the curtain...Darius!!! He started singing with the boy and the boy was so excited and kept hugging him and singing with him. Not a dry eye in the house! I know he didn't do it for recognition or for any praise. But, I think you will agree, we are indeed blessed to have such an wonderful man live within our community.
