ALAN JACKSON'S first exposure to bluegrass was watching "The Andy Griffith Show". He says, quote, "The Darlings they called them on the show, but it was THE DILLARDS, which is a little more of a folky kind of bluegrass. They played some cool stuff and that made an impression on me." Alan covered The Dillards' "There Is a Time" on his "Bluegrass Album", which came out last month.
