Here is the Billboard list of the Top 20 Music Moneymakers for 2012:
.) Madonna, $34.6 million
.) Bruce Springsteen, $33.4 million
.) Roger Waters, $21.2 million
.) Van Halen, $20.2 million
.) Kenny Chesney, $19.1 million

.) Jason Aldean, $17.6 million
.) Coldplay, $17.3 million
.) Justin Bieber, $15.9 million
.) Adele, $13.9 million . . . Like Taylor Swift, she didn't have any concert income.
.) Lady Antebellum, $13 million
.) Celine Dion, $12.9 million
.) Brad Paisley, $12.8 million
.) Taylor Swift, $12.7 million
.) Carrie Underwood, $11.9 million
.) Nickelback, $11.1 million
.) Eric Church, $11 million
.) Rascal Flatts, $10.8 million
.) Barbra Streisand, $10.6 million
The final estimates include album sales, digital music sales, streaming video and music, ringtones, publishing royalties, and revenue from touring . . . which is where the big money comes from these days. They only count U.S. music sales and touring revenue, so anyone who spent a lot of last year touring abroad won't have that income added.
