It's hard to imagine there was ever a time when the glamorous Dolly Parton wasn't glamorous. But Dolly reveals to The Tennessean newspaper that she went through tough times when she decided as a teenager to go to Nashville.To feed herself, Dolly would roam hotel hallways after dinner to look for room service leftovers. “If you’re hungry, you do what you’ve got to do.” She would bus tables and sing for local restaurants in exchange for a hot meal.
