Four-time Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, composer and actor Lyle Lovett is being awarded the Creative Voice Award by The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. ASCAP President Paul Williams says Lovett is "a musical hero in more ways than one" and is being recognized for his artistry as well as his work advocating on behalf of fellow musicians and his work with lawmakers to protect copyrights.
